I am the owner and the instructor, and I am a third-generation plasterer & painter that has been in business for over 23 years as a licensed contractor and working as an artesian for over the last 40 years.

Venetian Plaster Training Expectations
WHAT TO EXPECT
Unsure if this is the right fit for you? Continue reading to discover what our classes entail, what you can expect to learn, and the benefits of enrolling in them.
You won't be working with heavy wood sample boards like most Schools use, which are thick and expensive to ship back home if you're traveling out of state.
In my class, you'll work with lightweight sample boards made from PVC foam measuring 1/8 inch thick and 18 by 26 inches. These boards are professional-looking, easy to transport in an artist's briefcase from Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and durable enough to last a long time and making shipping back home more affordable.

I spend a lot more money purchasing these sample boards instead of wood because they look classier when showing clients your work.
I will teach you Contemporary, Old World, Mediterranean, Tuscan, Modern and Abstract finishes as well as metallic finishes that resemble mother of pearl and silk, which you can quickly learn to apply, ensuring you can start earning money as soon as you return home.

Other Venetian plaster finishes you will learn from me may require more practicing till you feel confident offering them to clients, and you can even practice on your own home. At the end of each day we will review the sample boards you've created, and you'll note all the steps on the back of the sample boards with the finishes you created so you can easily remember the process it took to complete.
While applying finishes on sample boards is a great start, working on actual walls and ceilings for the first time post-training is a completely different experience. With my detailed instruction, you'll be well-prepared.

AND MORE!
I often receive inquiries about how many days of Venetian plastering classes one should take. From my experience, if you're looking to maximize your knowledge for personal use or for your business, I highly recommend the 4-day class. This extended format covers a wealth of information and provides more opportunities to practice specific finishes. Many of my students who attended the 3-day class expressed that they should have taken the 4-day course instead!
Would you like to explore more finishes and receive personalized attention in a smaller private, Venetian Plaster class?
This exclusive Venetian Plaster course is limited to only 3 students, guaranteeing a tailored learning experience. I will focus entirely on you, enabling you to acquire in-depth knowledge! My Venetian Plaster Training is not intended to be a large-scale production class. It's essential for me to impart as much knowledge as possible, ensuring you get the most out of your learning experience.

Why is your School and Classes different from others?I am a perfectionist and I always go beyond my client and students’ expectations. I tell everyone that I hope you have thick skin because if I see you are not doing something right after I have explained and showed you in detail, I will let you know over and over if you are doing it wrong. Will you yell at me? of course not. 😜 I put my heart into my work and training, and I want you to leave feeling excited and looking forward getting back home and start ordering materials and tools and practice more and even take on some jobs right away with some of the finishes I will teach you so you can start making money right away.
-
Can I bring a friend?Yes, if they are paying for the training.
Over the years, I've developed friendships with many of my students, who often share photos of their work with me. They know they count on my support whenever they have questions, which is not something many schools offer. It's incredibly rewarding to witness their progress after I've assisted them with their training, as I see them continually improve. They also appreciate knowing that I will always be there to help them.
